On the eighth day of tips and tricks my MLS gave to me, tools worth knowing.

On the ninth day of tips and tricks my MLS gave to me, nine e-mail templates.

On the tenth day of tips and tricks my MLS gave to me, ten listing statuses.

On the eleventh day of tips and tricks my MLS gave to me, eleven listing shortcuts.

If you haven’t noticed by now, when you’re on a Listing Results grid inside MLXchange you’ll find a little button that looks like the letter “i” inside a little conversation bubble. We call that, the “i-Bubble.” This is where you can access all eleven of today’s listing shortcuts. It makes it easy to edit your listings, view the photos of a particular listing, access Realist for that listing and so much more. Take a look at the iBubble below and then I’ll detail what each of the shortcuts are.

Now take a look at the part of the picture labled Listing Shortcuts. From left to right here is what each button does.

1.) Report: Clicking this icon will open a pop-up window that includes the full property report for that listing.

2.) Tax: This icon gives you quick access to the county tax record for that property

3.) Property History: Displays the history of the property record within the statewide MLS system

4.) Map: Plot the property location on a pop-up map

5.) Edit: If the listing is your listing you’ll have easy access to edit the listing right from the i-Bubble

6.) E-mail: Quickly e-mail this listing to a client or another agent who you’d like to share it with

7.) Financial Calculators: Do some simple calculations including Mortgage Calculators and Closing Costs comparisons with these easy financial tools

8.) Realist Classic Tax: Access the property report in Realist Classic

9.) Report It: Find an error with a listing, easily click the next button on the iBubble panel and report it so it can get corrected

10.) The next four buttons are all related to a new functionality that will be launched by CTMLS in the coming months called Data Co-op. For now, there is no
need to know about these buttons, but in the future, you’ll know where they are.

11.) Realist Tax Search: Access the newest version of Realist with this quick access button

Now you’ve got quick and easy access to a whole host of functions that you will need when using MLXchange. If you have any trouble with using any of these features, feel free to visit our Learn page for more training resources.
