You may remember a couple of months ago there was a social network that was exploding. As is the case with most new social networks people thought that you HAD to join otherwise you would lose so much business to the competition that you would never recover. As is the case with most new social networks this talk was greatly exaggerated and most people ignored this emerging tool. The tool I am talking about of course is Foursquare. Foursquare is a social networking tool that allows users to “check-in” at local places and get special deals, tips from their friends and others who have been to that spot and play the game by becoming the Mayor of a particular location.
