As we continue to develop CTReal.com into a portal for all REALTORS® in Connecticut and consumers who are looking for clean, accurate and timely data directly from the MLS, we are taking strides towards developing the site into a one-stop shop for everything CT real estate. That is why this week we are excited to announce the launch of the CTReal.com blog. The CTReal.com blog is much different then the information you will find here on our corporate site. In fact, the information found on the CTReal.com blog is targeted to consumers in an effort to grow traffic to CTReal.com and in turn, generate more leads for your listings. So, how will we do that? The content on this new blog will be focused on the home buying and selling process providing consumers with tips and tricks on how to navigate the often murky waters of real estate. Starting from the premise that 90% of home buyers start their home search online (according to a 2009 NAR survey) we want to not only drive them to CTReal.com to find your listings, but we also want to give them the tools they need to make an informed decision when utilizing the site and then in turn working with a REALTOR®. Consumers are already doing their research on third party websites before contacting you and we want to drive them to a site that offers no advertising and direct to you lead generation. When a consumer finds a property that they like on the site their option will be to contact only the listing agent as CTReal.com does not offer any sort of enhanced listing features or upsells that require you to spend more of your money to compete for your listings. This is a benefit to you and to the consumer who has said time and time again that they want to be able to research CT real estate without being sold to and without any interruption. They want to contact a REALTOR® on their own terms and that’s exactly what CTReal.com enables them to do. If you’re working with a buyer/seller take a moment and direct them to the only CT real estate blog that they need to find comprehensive information on the who, what, where, why and how of navigating the market.
