Far too often the MLS gets calls from agents that say “my listing expired on SHOW status and has now Closed how do I correct it so that it displays CLOSED on the MLS?” First, and most importantly, the system is set up to notify you by email that the listing(s) will be expiring in 14 days. If you are not getting these e-mails take the following steps: 1.) Check your Spam and Junk Mail boxes 2.) Check your personal settings to make sure you have the correct email in there 3.) Membership: Have You Checked Your Personal Settings Lately?
Haven’t heard from CTMLS lately? Maybe it’s because your e-mail information is out-of-date! While you’re doing that Spring cleaning, why not take a few minutes to check your personal contact information in MLXchange to make sure it’s correct. The e-mail address that appears in your personal settings is the one we use to send out billing reminders. Okay, okay, so you may not want to be reminded that you owe us money, but CTMLS and your board keep track of your address, phone numbers and e-mail in the system, but you need to modify your personal settings as well to reflect any changes.
